Gün Doğuşu Mecmuasının çeviri yazısı ve edebî metinlerin incelenmesi

Abstract

Çağdaşlaşma olgusu içerisinde süreli yayınlar, dönemlerine ayna tutan önemli arşiv belgeleridir. Çağdaşlaşma bağlamından hareketle yayımlandıkları dönemin tarihini, siyasi yapısını, toplumsal dönüşümlerini, edebî ve düşünsel yapılarını yansıttığını söylemek yerinde bir tespit olacaktır. Burada kitleleri bilinçlendirme noktasında etkili bir güce sahip olan edebî içerikli süreli yayınlara ayrı bir parantez açmak gerekmektedir. Tanzimat'la beraber toplumu bilinçlendirme ve eğitme gayesinde olan Osmanlı aydınlarının bu emellerine kısmi de olsa edebî metinler aracılığıyla ulaşıldığı söylenilebilir. Bu metinlerin topluma ulaşması da ancak süreli yayınlarla mümkündür. Şu hâlde sözü geçen metinlerin aydınlanma hareketlerine lokomotif olduğu düşünülebilir. Çalışmaya 1919 yılında yayımlanan Gün Doğuşu dergisinin elde olan sekiz nüshasının tamamının eski harflerden günümüz harflerine aktarımı ile başlanmıştır. Ardından söz konusu dergide yer alan metinler şekil ve tür özelliklerine göre sınıflandırılarak muhtevaları edebî açıdan değerlendirilmiştir. "Giriş" ve "Sonuç" bölümleri haricinde üç bölümden oluşan çalışmanın "Giriş" bölümünde Türk basın tarihinin gelişim safhaları hakkında bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde ise derginin ismi, yayın hikâyesi, şekil ve tür özellikleri, kurmaca ve kurmaca dışı metinlerin sınıflandırılması, şair ve yazar kadrosu, görsel malzemeler, ilanlar ve reklamlar başlıkları altında inceleme genişletilmiştir. İkinci bölümde türlerine göre ayrılan metinlerin dönemine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde söz konusu dergideki metinlerin çeviri yazısına yer verilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde çalışmanın asıl konusu olan metinleri edebî değerlendirme süzgecine alarak buradan elde edilen çıktılar yorumlanmıştır. Gün Doğuşu Meşrutiyet Dönemi dergilerinden farklı olarak belirli bir görüş ve düşünce etkisi altında kendisini sınırlamamış olup yayınladığı bilimsel ve edebi metinlerle öğretici bir nitelik arz etmektedir. Böylelikle içeriğinde yer verdiği geniş kapsamlı metinler üzerinden dönemin izlerini yansıtmıştır. Ayrıca çağdaş ve öğretici kimliğiyle dikkat çeken dergi bir kütüphane kurma girişiminde bulunmuş fakat Kurtuluş Savaşı'nın başlaması nedeniyle bu emeline ulaşmamıştır. Tüm bu özellikleriyle çalışmaya konu olan dergi edebiyat tarihinin aydınlatılması bakımından değerli bir kaynaktır. Periodicals in the concept of modernization are important archive documents mirroring their periods. Based on the context of the modernization, it would be appropriate to state that they shed light on the history, political structure, social transformations, literary and intellectual structures of the period they were published. Hereby, it is necessary to open a separate parenthesis for literary content periodicals, which have an effective power to raise the awareness of the masses. It can be stated that Ottoman intellectuals, who aim to raise awareness and educate the society with Tanzimat, have achieved their ambitions through literary texts, albeit partially. The Access of these texts to the society can only be possible through periodical publications. In this case, it can be thought that the said texts are the engines of enlightenment. The study is started with the transfer of all eight copies of Gün Doğuşu magazine published in 1919 from old letters to today's letters. Afterward, the content of texts in the aforesaid magazine were evaluated in a literary sense by classifying according to their shapes and type characteristics. Apart from the introduction and conclusion chapter, the information on the development stages of the Turkish press history is included in the introduction section of the study. In the first part, the review is expanded under the titles of the journal, its story, form and genre features, classification of fictional and nonfictional texts, poet and writer staff, visual materials and advertisements. In the second part, the effects of the texts separated by their types on the period were investigated. In the third and last section, the translation of the texts in the magazine in question is included. In the conclusion section, the main texts of the study are included in the literary evaluation filter and the outputs obtained from it are interpreted. Unlike the Constitutional Period journals, Gün Doğuşu did not limit itself under the influence of a certain opinion and thought, and it presents a didactic quality with the published scientific and literary texts. Herewith, it has reflected the signs of the period through the broad texts included its content. In addition, the magazine, which draws attention with its contemporary and instructive identity, attempted to establish a library, but did not reach this goal due to the start of the War of Independence. With all these features, the journal is a valuable resource in terms of illuminating the history of literature.
