Roma imparatorluk dönemi Afyon müzesi’nde bulunan tykhe grubu adak heykelcikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusunu Afyon Müzesi’nde bulunmakta olan Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi’ne ait dört adet Tykhe adak heykelciğidir. Afyon Müzesi’nde sergilenen Tykhe heykelciklerinin tipolojik, stilistik ve ikonografik değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Bu stilistik karşılaştırmalar sonucunda heykelciklerin M.S. 2. yüzyıl ile erken 3. yüzyılın içerisinde yapılmış olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu heykelcikler nitelik ve kalite açısından değerlendirildiğinde; ayrıca stil ve işçilik açısından benzerlikler bulunduğundan Dokimeon atölyesine ait olduğu görülmektedir. Heykelcikler kentte yerel kutsal alanların varlığını göstermektedir. Heykelciklerin değerlendirilmeleri ışığında yerleşim yerinde Tykhe’ye ait inanç yapısı ve adak kültürü olduğu görülmektedir.

The subject of this study is four Tyche votive statuettes from the Roman Imperial Period, which are in the Afyon Museum. A typological, stylistic and iconographic evaluation of Tyche statues exhibited in the Afyon Museum has been made. As a result of these stylistic comparisons, it shows that the figurines were made in A.D. 2.nd and Early 3. nd century. When these statuettes are evaluated in terms of quality and quality; also, since there are similarities in terms of style and workmanship, it is seen that there are statuettes belonging t o Dokimeon workshop. The statuettes show the existence of local sanctuaries in the city. In the light of the evaluations of the figurines, it is seen that there is a belief structure and votive culture belonging to Tyche in the settlement.
