Destinasyon performansının ziyaretçi memnuniyeti ve geleceğe yönelik ziyaretçi davranışı üzerine etkisi: Kapadokya örneği

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the destination performance of the Nevşehir province and to show the effect of the destination performance on tourist satisfaction and future intentions.The study will demonstrate the impact of the performance of the destination on tourists and it will provide guidance to destination managers who want to improve their destination performance, which subjects they should attach importance to performance. The scale was developed in order to measure the destination performance of Nevşehir province, tourist satisfaction and future intentions by using the previously developed scales. Sampling method was preferred as convenience sampling method and domestic and foreign tourists who visited Nevsehir province were included in the scope of the research. The data were collected by the survey technique. As a result of the research, Nevşehir province’s natural beauty, historical places and cultural heritage, balloon tours effect tourist satisfaction and future intentions positively.In addition, it has been revealed that the natural beauty of Nevşehir has a positive impact on the destination performance.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Nevşehir ilinin destinasyon performansını ölçmek ve ölçülen destinasyon performansının ziyaretçi memnuniyetine ve geleceğe yönelik ziyaretçi davranışlarına ne derece etkisi olduğu ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma destinasyon performansının ziyaretçiler üzerine etkisini ortaya koyacak ve destinasyon performansını artırmak isteyen destinasyon yöneticilerine performans ile ilgili hangi konulara önem vermeleri gerektiği konusunda yol gösterici olacaktır. Nevşehir ilinin destinasyon performansını, ziyaretçi memnuniyetini ve ziyaretçilerin tekrar ziyaret etme niyetlerini ölçmek için daha önce geliştirilen ölçeklerden faydalanılarak bu çalışma için bir ölçek oluşturulmuştur. Örnekleme yöntemi olarak kolayda örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiş ve araştırmanın kapsamına Nevşehir ilini ziyaret eden yerli ve yabancı turistler dâhil edilmiştir. Veriler anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Nevşehir ilinin doğal güzelliklere, tarihi yerlere ve kültürel mirasa sahip olması, balon turlarının yapılması, ziyaretçi memnuniyetini ve geleceğe yönelik ziyaretçi davranışı olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Ayrıca ilin doğal güzelliklere sahip olması destinasyon performansını da olumlu yönde etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır.
