Türkiye'de Turizmin Etkileri Konusunda Yerel Halkın Bakış Açısını Ortaya Koyan Lisansüstü Tezlerin Bibliyometrik Analizi

Abstract

Türkiye'nin farklı turizm destinasyonlarında zaman içerisinde turizmin gelişmesiyle birlikte olumlu ve olumsuz pek çok etki ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu etkiler genellikle çevresel (fiziksel), ekonomik ve sosyo-kültürel etkiler şeklinde kategorize edilmektedir. Konuyla ilgili literatür incelendiğinde, bu konuda çok sayıda bilimsel çalışma yapıldığı ve ağırlıklı olarak yerel halkın söz konusu etkilere ilişkin bakış açısının ortaya konulduğu görülmektedir. Ancak bu çalışmaları bibliyometrik bakış açısıyla çeşitli parametrelere göre bir arada analiz eden çalışma sayısı oldukça sınırlıdır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, turizmin etkileri konusunda yerel halkın bakış açısını ele almış lisansüstü tezlerinçeşitli parametrelere göre bibliyometrik yöntemle analiz edilmesidir. Çalışmada 2000-2017 yılları arasında Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi (Yök Tez)'ndekayıtlı bulunan,turizmin etkileri konusunda yerel halkın tutum ve algılamalarını ortaya koyan85 lisansüstü tezanaliz edilmiştir. Analiz yapılırken tezlere ilişkin bir takım parametreler kullanılmıştır. Bu parametreler;"yıl","tür","yayınlandığı üniversite","hazırlandığı enstitü","yayınlandığı ana bilim dalı","danışman adı","danışman ünvanı","sayfa sayısı", "kaynakça sayısı","araştırma alanı" ve "temel bulguları" şeklinde belirlenmiştir.Analiz bulgularına göre, yerel halk ve turizmin etkileri alanında en çok 2014 ve 2015 yıllarında tez yazıldığı,yaygın olarak hazırlanmış lisansüstü tez türünün yüksek lisans tezi olduğu,hem doktora hem de yüksek lisans alanında en fazla tez hazırlamış olan üniversitenin Gazi Üniversitesi olduğu,tezlerin yoğunlukla Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü bünyesinde hazırlandığı, tezlerin ağırlıkla Turizm İşletmeciliği Ana Bilim Dalı'nda yayınlandığı,en fazla tez yürüten tez danışmanı ünvanının Yrd. Doç. Dr. olduğu, araştırma alanı olarak en çok tercih edilen illerin sırasıyla, Antalya, Muğlave İzmirolduğu belirlenmiştir. Yerel halkın turizmin etkilerine karşı tutumlarının ve algılamalarının genel anlamda olumlu yönde olduğu da bulgular arasındadır.

Many positive and negative effects have emerged with the development of tourism, in the different destinations of Turkey in time. Usually, these effects are categorized as physical, economic, and socio-cultural. When the literature is examined about the subject it is seen that, a large number of scientific studies have been done about this subject. It is also seen that, mainly in these studies the subject is revealed with the local pepole's point of view to the aforesaid effects. However, the number of studies that analyze these studies, according to various parameters with bibliometric point of view, is rather limited. The purpose of this study is to analyze according to various parameters with the bibliometric method of post-graduate theses which are handled the point of view of local people on the effects of tourism. In the study,85 post-graduate theses, which are registered on the Council of Higher Education Thesis Center (Yök Tez) between the years of 2000-2017, have been analyzed that demonstrate the attitudes and the perceptions of local people about the effects of tourism. While analyzing, some parameters related to the theses were used. These parameters have been identified as; "year", "type", "published university", "institute", "published department", "the name of the supervisor", "the degree of the supervisor", "the number of the page", "the number of the sources", "research area" and "key findings". Acording to the findings of the analysis in the area of local people and the effects of tourism; most of the thesis are written in the years of 2014 and 2015, most thesis are written in the area of master's degree,both the doctorate and the master's degree most thesis are written in Gazi University, theses are prepared intensively in the Institute of Social Sciences and the Department of Tourism Management, the degree of the supervisor is mostly assistant professor, and the most preferred cities as research areas are respectively Antalya, Muğla and İzmir, have been identified. It is also a finding that local people's attitudes and the perceptions towards the effects of tourism are generally positive.
