Türkiye'de Enflasyon Hedefleme Stratejisi Uygulama Sürecinin Analizi; 2002-2016 Yılları Örneklemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada ilk olarak enflasyon hedeflemesi stratejisinin temel kavramsal çerçevesi ve tarihsel süreçteki gelişimi incelenmiştir. Daha sonra bu stratejinin Türkiye'deki başarısı çoklu regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Çalışmada bağımsız değişken olan Enflasyon hedeflemesi ile etkileşimi olan 4 adet başka bağımlı değişkenler belirlenmiştir. Bu değişkenler, Mevduat faizi, döviz kuru, enflasyon ve ekonomik büyümedir. Öncelikle bu değişkenler durağanlık testine tabi tutulmuştur. Durağanlık testi olarak ADF birim kök testi kullanılmıştır. Literatürde sıklıkla kullanılan bu değişkenler enflasyon hedeflemesinin performansını ölçmek için ayrı ayrı modellenerek Zaman serisi Çoklu Regresyon analizi ile test edilmiştir.

In this study, firstly the basic conceptual framework of the inflation targeting strategy and its historical development has been examined. Then the success of this strategy in Turkey were examined by multiple regression analysis. Four other dependent variables that interact with the inflation targeting, which is the independent variable to work, are defined. These variables are Deposit interest rate, exchange rate, inflation and economic growth. First of all, these variables were subjected to stationarity test. ADF unit root test was used as stationarity test. These variables, which are frequently used in the literature, have been tested by Time Series Multiple Regression analysis, modeled separately to measure the performance of the inflation target.
