Kazak Türklerinin Munlık-Zarlık destanında “Altın”

Abstract

Halkın ortak duygu, düĢünce ve bilgi birikimi ile oluĢan ve kalıplaĢan sözlü gelenek ürünlerinin en kapsamlısı olan destanlar, milletlerin dünya görüĢü ve felsefesini yansıtması özelliğiyle sağlam, köklü ve zengin bir temele sahiptir. Kazak Türkleri de diğer Türk boy ve topluluklarında olduğu gibi zengin bir kültürel mirasa sahiptir; bu mirasın en önemli varlığı ise destanlardır. Bu çalıĢmada, Kazak bilim adamları tarafından her iki türün de özelliklerine sahip olduğu için hem arkaik destan hem kahramanlık destanı kabul edilen Muñlık-Zarlık destanının kahramanı Zarlık‘ın altın saçlı olmasından hareketle, metin içinde yer alan diğer altın nesne ve unsurlar üzerinde durulmuĢtur. Metinde öncelikle altın unsurunun geçtiği temel bölümlere yer verilmiĢtir. Daha sonra simya, altına dönüĢtürme, altın madenin diğer madenlere göre üstün tutulmasının sebepleri hakkında çeĢitli yazarların görüĢlerinden yola çıkılarak en değerli ve soylu sayılan bu madenin destan kahramanına atfedilmesi konusunda bir değerlendirme yapılmıĢtır

Epics, formed as a consequence of common feelings, thoughts and knowledge of peoples and as the most comprehensive of the traditional oral products reflect the perspectives and philosophy of a people and therefore have strong and rich bases. Kazakh Turks, like all other Turkic clans, have a rich cultural heritage the most important of which are the epics. In this paper, setting off from the fact that the Zarlik, the protagonist of the Muñlik- Zarlik epic has golden hair, golden objects and elements in the text have been studied. The text is regarded by Kazakh scholars both an archaic and a heroic epic, because it comprises of the elements of both. In the text, first, the main parts about the golden objects have been studied. Secondly, information is given about the articles of various scholars on alchemy, turning into gold, and why gold is regarded superior to other mines. As a result it is discussed why gold, considered as the most valuable and noble of mines is attested to a hero of an epic.
