Kadın folkloru ve toplumsal cinsiyet üzerinde kültürel kimliğin etkisi: Tavşanlı ilçesi Dedeler ve Beyköy örneği

Abstract

Bir toplum içindeki alt gruplarda görülen kültürel farklılıklar toplumsal hayatın temel gerçeği olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bir grubun kültürel kimliği ve toplumsal cinsiyet algısının o grubun bireylerince üretilen folklor unsurlarını etkilediği açıktır. Temel problemi kültürel kimlik ile toplumsal cinsiyet ilişkisini anlamak olan bu çalışmada iki farklı toplumsal yapıya sahip köy yerleşmesinde kadın folkloru ve toplumsal cinsiyet üzerinde kültürel kimliğin etkisi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada kadının cinsiyet kimliğiyle ilişkili folklor öğelerinin toplumsal cinsiyet olgusunun inşasındaki rolü belirlenerek, iki farklı kültür bölgesi özelinde karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, kadınların toplumsal cinsiyet rollerinin mevcut durumuna odaklanılmakla birlikte, bunlardaki değişim ve dönüşüm nedenleriyle birlikte gözler önüne serilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tarihsel ve ekonomik etkenler de ele alınarak sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bunların yanı sıra Tavşanlı yöresinin zengin kültür çeşitliliği içinde kadın folklorunun yeri ve önemi saha çalışmasından elde edilen verilerle ortaya çıkarılarak araştırma alanında toplumsal cinsiyet algısındaki farklılıkların ve değişimin nedenleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada doğumdan itibaren başlayan, insanın kültürlenme süreci denilen olguyla ortaya çıkan toplumsal cinsiyetin inşası ve bu kavramla ilişkilendirilen, kadınların üretmiş olduğu folklor ürünlerinin kültürel kimlik üzerinde etkisi tespit edilerek incelenmiştir. Bu tez çalışmasında, kadın bireylere özgü halk kültürünün ve bu kültüre bağlı gelişen cinsel kimliklerin sosyokültürel yaşam ve kültürel kimliğin şekillenmesine ve böylece toplumun temel dinamiklerinin sürdürülmesine olan etkisi de ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde araştırmanın problemi, konusu, amacı ve gerekçesi, yöntemi, kuramsal çerçevesi, veri toplama araç ve teknikleri, veri toplama süreci hakkında bilgi verilmiş, birinci bölümünde kavramsal çerçeveye dair terimler ele alınmış, ikinci bölümünde kadın folkloruna dair veriler, kültürel kimlik ve aidiyet ile toplumsal cinsiyetin belirleyici süreçleri ortaya konulmuştur. Cultural differences in sub-groups within a society are accepted as the basic truth of social life. It is clear that the cultural identity and gender perception of a group influenced the folkloric elements produced by the individuals of that group. In this study the main problem is to understand the relationship between cultural identity and gender, the effects of cultural identity on female folklore and gender in the village settlement with two different social structures were tried to be revealed. In the research, the role of folklore elements related to the gender identity of women in the construction of the gender phenomenon was determined and compared in two different cultural regions. In the study, while focusing on the current situation of women's gender roles, the reasons of change and transformation are tried to be revealed. Historical and economic factors were also evaluated, and results were obtained. In addition to this, the place and importance of female folklore in the rich cultural diversity of the Tavşanlı region was revealed with the data obtained from the field study and the reasons of the differences in the perception of gender and the reasons of the change in the research area were tried to be determined. In the study, the construction of gender, starting from birth, emerged by the phenomenon called human culturing process, and the effects of the folklore products produced by women related to this concept on the cultural identity were determined and examined. In this thesis, the effects of the folk culture specific to women individuals and the sexual identities related to this culture on shaping sociocultural life and cultural identity and thus maintaining the basic dynamics of society are also discussed. In the introduction part of the study, the problem of the study, the subject, the purpose and the rationale, the method, the theoretical framework, the data collection tools and techniques, information about the data collection process, the first part of the conceptual framework terms, the second part of the data on women's folklore, cultural identity and belonging and gender-determining processes.
