dc.description.abstract	Excavations initiated at Elaiussa Sebaste by Roma “Sapienza” University in 1995 have brought to light many public structures as well as shed light onto the historic development of the city and its urban extension1. Fragments of the bowl presented here were uncovered in an area that was part of the residential palace of civic or military administrators of Elaiussa Sebaste in the Early Byzantine Period. The palace was built about mid-5th century A.D. and fell out of use after a fire and plundering in the first half of the 6th century A.D.	tr_TR
