Kirkuk is one of Iraqi cities that Turkmen most intense in it. For this reason, Turkish objects often can be seen in Turkmen cemetery in Kirkuk. These objects are not seen just in cemetery, they are also can be seen in tomb visits, condolence ceremony and funerary mores. There are some objects specified to the region, can also seen together with the traditional objects that mentioned above. For example, regional tomb types, iron gratings above the tombs, decorations, figures and literary texts written on tomb stones. In this thesis, after mentioning some general information extracted from references about Turkish tombs; as a result of interviews with people from the city and visual data, previously mentioned objects in Kerkuk cemetery are researched and studied.The important objects in Kerkuk cemetery are literary texts that written by ottoman letters. Generally; the literary texts in poems and quad verses of poetry method telling subjects like dead person's death incident, heroism and immortality
