Çizgi filmlerde aile kurumunun sunumu: Niloya örneği

Abstract

Çocuklar vakitlerinin büyük bir kısmını ekran başında geçirmektedir. Çocuklar tarafından en çok tercih edilen içerik ise şüphesiz çizgi filmlerdir. Bu sebeple çizgi filmlerin çocuklara sunduğu iletiler önem taşımaktadır. Çocuklar gelişim özellikleri nedeniyle kendilerine sunulan iletileri süzmeden olduğu gibi kabul edebilmektedirler. Seyrettikleri çizgi film karakterleri onlar için önemli rol modellere dönüşebilmektedir. Bu bağlamda sosyolojik açıdan temel toplumsal kurumlardan biri olan ailenin çizgi filmler aracılığıyla nasıl inşa edildiği önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın konusunu, Türkiye'de çocuklar tarafından en fazla tercih edilen çizgi filmlerden biri olan Niloya adlı çizgi filmde aile kurumunun nasıl sunulduğu ve aileye yönelik ne tür mesajlar aktarıldığı incelenmektedir. Nitel araştırma yönteminden faydalanılarak yürütülen bu araştırmada Niloya çizgi filminin 66 bölümü izlenerek içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Öncelikle temalar ve alt temalar belirlenmiş ardından yorumlamalar yapılmıştır. Oluşturulan temalar; aile birliğine önem, aile içi sevgi-saygı, aile içi güven, aile içi yardımlaşma, aile içi sorumluluk, değerler öğretimi (milli değerlerin öğretimi, dini değerlerin öğretimi), kültür aktarımı (Karadeniz yöresel kültürü aktarımı, sözlü kültür unsurları), aile içinde toplumsal cinsiyet rolleridir. Niloya isimli çizgi filmin bir yandan ideal aile değerlerini aktarırken öte yandan mevcut aile değerlerini pekiştirdiğini de belirtmek gerekir. Sonuç olarak filmde, toplumda yerleşik olan aile yapısı ve aile örüntülerinin ve bununla birlikte ideal olan aile değerlerinin sunulduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

Children spend most of their time in front of the screen. The most preferred content by children is undoubtedly cartoons. For this reason, the messages that cartoons offer to children are important. Due to their developmental characteristics, children can accept the messages presented to them as they are, without filtering them. The cartoon characters they watch can become important role models for them. In this context, it is important how the family, which is one of the basic social institutions in sociological terms, is built through cartoons. The subject of this study is how the family institution is presented and what kind of messages are conveyed to the family in the cartoon Niloya, which is one of the most preferred cartoons by children in Turkey. In this research, which was carried out using the qualitative research method, 66 episodes of the cartoon Niloya were watched and analyzed with the content analysis technique. Firstly, the themes and sub-themes were determined and then interpretations were made. The themes created; importance to family unity, family love-respect, family trust, family cooperation, family responsibility, teaching values (teaching national values, teaching religious values), cultural transfer (transfer of Black Sea regional culture, oral culture elements), social in family are gender roles. As a result, it should be noted that the cartoon named Niloya not only conveys ideal family values, but also reinforces existing family values. It is understood that the ideal values with the established family structure and family patterns in the society are presented successfully.
