Abstract:
The most promising method to improve the electronic properties of graphene is chemical doping with heteroatoms. In this study, effect of different precursors on the synthesis of boron doped graphene nanosheets was investigated. Boron doped graphene nanosheets
were synthesized by hydrothermal method using boric acid (H3BO3) as a boron source and different graphene precursors as graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The synthesized samples were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning
electron microscopy (SEM), raman spectroscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy techniques. The results show that the use of different precursors leads to the important structural differences and boron contents in the samples.
