Özet:
7he purpose of this study is to invesitgate the moderating role of formalization in determining the effects of strategic flexibility and perceived risk on affective organizational commitment in tourism industry. The findings of the research indicated that strategic flexibility and perceived risk were found to be positively related to affective commitment for the senior executives and middle managers. Moreover, the participants suggested that the interaction of perceived risk and formalization had a negative effect on affective commitment. Formalization moderated only the relationship between perceived risk and affective commitment. Finally, practical implications are discussed, and suggestions for the future research are made.
